I thought I had enough ammo until my wife asked me if I had enough...

“Ummmm, no. No, I do not have enough ammo. I need to buy more :D ”.

I came home with 3 boxes of 30-30 and 3 boxes of 12-ga and she asked me what I “was going to do with all that ammo after the crisis was over”.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

After I moved to shooting three handguns only, I have finally figured what is "enough ammo" to have in stock.

For total ammo in the three calibers, I'd like to have 999 rounds ammo (easy number to evenly divide). ;) This would keep me on the range shooting for a year, probably longer. Currently, I have about 2/3 of this amount.

I'm one of the persons that purchased, what I consider now, too much .22LR ammo back when the shelves were short. I have a lot of that ammo left, but no longer shoot any .22LR firearms. I look at those ammo cans on my shelves and just say "duh." :|

It’s one reason my main firearms taken to the range are rimfire. I was buying.22LR, .22WMR and .17HMR.

Dang! Lost all my ammo in a boating accident. Guess I'll have to buy some more after this "thing" clears up. Stinking boat!

My wife don't seem to complain about the ammo. She just complain that I have too many guns. I try to explain to her that it so we can shoot together. :)
