Axe Video
This was in my recommended vids this morning. Looks good. I enjoyed the review, appreciated the recommended technique for shooting the axe, (Butt on the pec) and the caution about slugs. Wonder if there will be a slug pack offered later? (Choke removal tool and appropriate screw in thread protector for slugs.)

Good job on the video.

They are neat, but I have no practical use for one.

Re: Axe Video
Good video Jim, thank you!
If I had that kind of disposable cash laying around, I might consider it. Would make a good trail gun and easy to pack on the 4-wheeler for self defense. It's size makes it very packable, or with a sling, one could carry that all day.
As Randy stated, "no practical use"...probably true, however, for the reasons I mentioned, would be kinda neat to have.
Then again, an appropriate handgun will serve the same purpose...excuse me, just thinkin' via the keyboard....sorry.

Agree with you all. Have no use for it, but if I had money laying around . . .
I feel the same way about the Tippmann Armory 9mm mini gatling gun. No use for it, but if I had an extra 5K laying around, sure would be fun!

Re: Axe Video
I had the same feeling. It would be a good gun for the Ranger UTV or in the Truck, but the 12 gauge Mosberg Shockwave already has that job, and has been filling the slot well. Not as cool, but at 1/3 the price.markiver54 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 10:49 amGood video Jim, thank you!

You're right Jim, however the 20 ga would have much less recoil....I think.BrokenolMarine wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:11 amI had the same feeling. Re: Axe Video
Absolutely, but the shockwave was only available in 12 when we picked er up. Miss T and I both shoot it with no problem, and it rides just fine in the gap between the seat in the Polaris ranger and the seat back. Just the ticket for a rabid fox or skunk or other problem critter we might run into in the back of the property where the phone has no signal.markiver54 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 10:21 amYou're right Jim, however the 20 ga would have much less recoil....I think.BrokenolMarine wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:11 ammarkiver54 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 10:49 amGood video Jim, thank you!

Re: Axe Video
Nice video on the Axe! Looks like a good size ding on that nice wood though.
20 ga. Shockwave is what I have and seems to work well for what it is.
