Good luck with the surgery. Millions of men have had it. I had surgery in October of 2003 and have been cancer free.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. My dad had to have his removed and it took some time for him to get "back to normal". That was back in the late 60's and I'm sure the procedure has improved immensely since then.

It's going to be a hungry day. One day before my surgery and I can only have jello broth and juice or water.

Well, look at it this way, if it were going to be a Colonoscopy you'd be drinking that terrible nectar and spending your day you know where.
