I spent a sleepless night in the hospital and am set to go home. They're going to leave this dern Foley in for a week. Pain level at about 6-7 but I can stand that. It hurts most when I have to twist my body to get up from the gurney. Or if I get a gas bubble.

Thanks again for all the prayers and wishes. I know I would not have had as easy time without them.

You seem to be in pretty good spirits and that can only help. Good to hear.

Now for the recovery process. Do what they tell you and I bet you will be shooting again in no time.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Update. I had a fever spike after 3 hours at home and am back in the hospital. They're keeping me overnight. We were getting supper together when my fever showed up. I'm so hungry.

I’m saying prayers for you. I’m in the camp that it’s better to address than β€œleaving it and keeping an eye out for trouble”.

I’m hope you have a successful surgery with a speedy recovery.

Not entirely uncommon. Sure they would rather just have you in the safest place to monitor. Keep your chin up.
I'm sure everything will be ok !!!
