I’ve seen a few bobcats and lynx over the years, and that’s a good sized one from taking the tire tracks as a scale. I’ve never seen a cougar up close before (other than in a nightclub in my early 20s)’ but we’ve found their scat on our property, and my neighbor across the street had that one sleeping under their trees. Apparently my sister has one (cougar) that sits on the roof of her house to watch deer meander up the gully that is part of her back yard.

The Aussies call cougars “mutton dressed up as lamb”. Heard that one night in Kings Cross in Sidney back in the 90s. Just about peed myself laughing!

These were taken a week ago. One little kitty on the left and two Bob Cats on the right.
I saw there tracks down the drive yesterday as well.
