Well, I was going to do the email thing, but an automated reply is an insult to a fan, or anyone else. I'll skip it.

here is a copy of the automatic response I received :

"NASCAR Digital Media, LLC (“NDM”) acknowledges receipt of your e-mail and thanks you for contacting us. This email address is solely for the purpose of general comments, suggestions, and inquiries about NASCAR.com and/or NASCAR. Please be advised that all communications sent to this email address will be treated in accordance with the submissions policy set forth in the NASCAR.COM Terms of Use.

This email is an auto response message."

I looked at it as an instant confirmation that they received my email .... over time I've received similar confirmations from a wide range of businesses

Yeah, that's the one. I have received my share through the years. Hopefully they read them and more importantly I had always hoped that they listened to us. Although my E-mail days may not be over, I believe the last of the good 'ol days have hit the wall. Race over.

My guess is a low echelon computer person reads them and converts the general meaning into a spreadsheet for upper management.

Upper management then reads the spreadsheet and knows 273 people are for one lugs and 1,672 are against it. I just made these numbers up.

I gave up on NFL and now I give up on NASCAR after all these years. They all went down the wrong path as far as I am concerned.

I turned on the Infinity race today as it was too hot to do anything outside. At the opening they made the
announcement that contrary to rumors floating around they will not discontinue the Invocation and the
National Anthem. Today they had trouble with the PA System so the radio listeners didn't hear it, but
they assured everyone that they did have it and will have it tomorrow at Texas Motor Speedway.

Of course Kyle put on a drivers seminar today starting at the rear, and being sent there again for
speeding on pit row, and still won the race. :D

He likes to show the kids how it's done. This was win number 98 in this series and the speculation is that
when he breaks a hundred he'll stop doing the Infinity.

He won't stop at 100, he has to feed that ego somehow.
That said, Sun. race will be Texas, my favorite track. Won't get to watch, as it's on NBCSN, which I don't get on antenna. May have to crank up my simulator & do it my self. My sim is 2003. The track has been re-configured since then & removed some of the banking.
Get your setup right & you've got one heck of a ride. Get it wrong, you're going to see a lot of rear bumpers, LOL
