So what driver, team, or logo do guys want to see take the checkered flag?

1. I am a #24 William Byron fan. I'm hopeful his pairing with Knaus will reward him with a checker or two this year. He's a fine young man.
2. If 24 can't seal the deal, then it is anyone in the Hendrick camp.
3. If the Hendrick camp can't finish em off, then it's anyone with a Bowtie on their grill, if they have a grill left!

A few years ago, I took a ride around the Charlotte Motor Speedway with the Richard Petty Experience, and their driver. I will never forget how the G forces felt (3 G's) when the car went into turn 1 at speed. I thought we were going right into the wall . Our straight away speeds were + - 160 mph nothing compared to the Cup speeds. After that ride, I gained tremendous respect for what these drivers, current and yesteryear, endure on race day.

Well, I'm a die hard Ford guy, have been since my first car ( '56 Ford Crown Vic ). I hoping for a Penske driver to take the checker.
Like Chase Elliot also, was a big fan of Awesome Bill, back in the day.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

I won't be watchin unless it's pouring rain and can't do anything outside then it will just be a glance here and there.
Used to watch religiously but no more, BUT
I'll take the #18 EVERY weekend.
As far as Hendrick the last driver he had beside the one year Kyle was there, was Terry LaBonte.
I like Chase because he's Bill's son just wish he drove for anyone else.
Brands don't matter, the only thing on those cars that are brand are the decals.
No brand parts on those cars anymore sorry.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

At home I'm all Chevy and a Cadillac, but on the track I'm for the driver.

Ryan Newman would be my pick.

He's been close to it before and could very well accomplish it.

Would also be great to see Jack Roush win another.

My second choice would be Kyle Busch again.

Two in a row would really keep the doubters quiet.

He took a lot of flak on his first a few years back.

Third would be Austin Dillon.

Not only for himself and Chevrolet, but mostly for Richard Childress.

Would love to see him win another.

I too pull for drivers .... my first favorite was Fred Lorenzen who drove the number 28 Ford .... later I became a strong 3 fan .... more recently I pulled for Danica and I'd like to see Jimmy Johnson win a 6th .... I now pull for Hendrick's Chevy drivers with Chase and Jimmy at the top of the list .... I have no sympathy for Kyle but have come to where I enjoy seeing Kurt do well

RP I mean you no harm but I hope Shrub has the same type of finish in every race this season as he did in the Clash ;)

You know, Jimmie is a great guy and a great driver to boot, but Nascar started falling during his victorious years. When Jimmie won, so did Knaus and so did Hendrick. Two people that myself and many others out there are not fans of.

I'm a pretty big fan of Nascar in general, but when Jimmie won Race after Race and Championship after Championship, it wore me down. And I feel it wore the sport down as well. His abnormal good luck also added to the frustration, as remember, when Jimmie won, your driver didn't. I really believe that the Chase was created to simmer Jimmie down. And it worked. Now all this is no fault of Jimmie himself, but reality is reality.

I also hope him the best and he will go down in history as one of the best, as well as being a future Hall of Famer, but I also hope he had his last. I wouldn't mind him winning a race or two, but no more Championships, I agree.

My opinion anyway.
