Re: NASCAR 2020
Rainy weather led to the postponement of Tuesday night’s race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Darlington Raceway.
The Toyota 200 was scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET start, a time moved up Monday by two hours because of the threat of inclement weather. Persistent rain forced the 147-lap event to move to Thursday at noon ET (FS1, MRN, SiriusXM).

Good old time racing. Engine size on the hood, racing on the "paper clip". I still miss that old style racing. Guess I'm just old, LOL.Cowboy Gun Fan wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 7:32 pmInteresting Clip on the Virginia 500 at Martinsville in 1972:

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

I agree. Check out some of the old great names from back then as well. Some of the notables - Petty, Allison, Pearson, Issac, Yarbrough, Parsons, Dave Marcis, Wendell Scott, Jimmy Hensley, Richard Childress and Earl Brooks to name a few. Earl Brooks was a good friend of a good friend of mine.Grunt67 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 11:45 pmGood old time racing. Engine size on the hood, racing on the "paper clip". Thanks for the heads up JEBar, I tried to watch it but Ma-nature had other ideas. I’ll give it another try tomorrow.JEBar wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 11:09 amNASCAR officials have moved up the start time for Tuesday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway to 6 p.m. ET because of the potential for inclement weather.
Originally slated for 8 p.m. ET, the Toyota 200 (FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) is scheduled to be the first Xfinity Series race since March after a two-month pause in action due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Re: NASCAR 2020
I had strong doubts that it was going to run. We've been getting hit with rain in the whole region.
They'll be lucky to get it in Thursday, but there's always hope.

I still think they should go back to running factory sheet metal. The 'ol pull it off the showroom floor and go racing type, with appropriate safety measures installed of course.
