NASCAR news had an article, that said Bubba was booed at Bristol, and cheered when he wrecked.

Just saw a video clip of it posted by an independent. That was pretty loud for just 30,000 fans.

I just saw the article yesterday about Bubba misbehaving. Could have been last year.
Kyle was disqualified because the car didn't meet some height standard.

Seems like Nascar is picking on Kyle, unless this is a new precedent by them.

Will it happen in Cup? To someone real popular like Chase Elliott?

Would love to see it happen and then see what happens afterwards.

I can just imagine what would have happened if they took a win from Dale, Jr a few years back, say at a place like Daytona or Talladega to boot.

Best I can remember, when it did happen to someone, they might have lost points, crew chief suspended, etc.

But like I said, is this the new precedent?

Rule is not really new, just tightened tolerances. Laser measured now. By rule, a win will be forfeited. Similar thing happened to Logano a couple of yrs ago. Took away the win & cost him a shot at the playoffs.
All the teams push the envelope. Sometimes a bit too much. Risk & reward.

Strange with Kyle though. Did someone goof? Or were they really trying to cheat or really push the envelope as you have mentioned?

As Kyle doesn't need to. No one can win an Xfinity race like he can.

I have no idea, and they're not going to tell ya. Could have even been something that happened to the car during the race. Regardless, if it's not right, you're toast.
