Im still lookin and this Henry 30-30 CCH that is really nice. But the local pawn shop has a Marlin 336 XLR 30-30 that I have been eyeballing also. Decisions Decisions.

If it matters, not knowing the price difference, the XLR is a more rare firearm.
Therefore should hold and most likely will increase in value.
Plus it's shinny steel, I mean stainless steel. :lol:

Price difference is about 125.00 less for the XLR. But the guy who has the Henry has it marked up a little more than what one could really be bought for. So actual price difference is about 65.00 plus shipping and FFL fee in the case of the Henry. I like the shinny steel and the laminated stock look myself. Ive seen the XLR in 444 going for about double what the 30-30's are. Yup Henry has the OCT barrel

Yep, you are right about the 444's, the 308, and 338's XLR's are getting pretty pricey also.
