Ive got a RIA in 10MM and its a great shooter. But for me if I was to do it over again Id buy the CZ97 in 45 acp and would have passed on the 10mm. That CZ97 is a great gun for the money. got mine for 605.00.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I've toyed with getting a Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt with the extra .45acp cylinder. Would be a great combo. But, living in Ca, I have reservations. Never know what our governor will do next.

.
I have both for my Uberti. Wanted the option to shoot both since .45LC is often out of stock. Got the cylinder, including bushing, at VTIgunParts.com
Very responsive to email questions, timely and thorough answers.

I have one of those and a Vaquero that I picked up later.
The acp cylinder works just fine in the Vaquero also. 8-)

I heartily recommendation 45 ACP cylinder in a single action. Unlike DA revolvers, no moon clips to mess with and even if you shoot only factory ammo, cost is half of 45 Colt factory ammo. The 45 ACP also burns much cleaner than the cheapest 45 Colt factory ammo, namely, 45 Colt cowboy loads. In the Ruger 45 Colts with their tight throats and 8 degree forcing cones, jacketed 45 ACP bullets are actually a better match than shooting the oversize lead 45 Colt bullets. We even shoot the budget aluminum case 45 factory ACP bullets in our Ruger with great success.

Very good info NCG, I've only shot acp cylinder very little.
And only in the Vaquero a couple cylinders full just to check to see if it would work correctly.
