Yea someone is going to get a very good deal.
It would no doubt be much more if it were pre - crossbolt but it is a JM.

Don't you need to make an RV service call or parts pickup or something RV related up there in WA?

Re: Another One I Am Glad Is A Long Way Away!
I've had several crossbolt JMs and they were every bit as good as any of the pre-crossbolt JMs I've had. In fact, had a 1997 357 with ballad rifling that outshot any 357 rifle I've ever owned. Period. Don't pass up a good deal on a JM 357 because of the cross bolt. I actually liked the cross bolt when it came time to unload ammo from the mag tube. If you don't like the cross bolt in the field, just disable it with a small O ring on the left side to leave the gun in firing mode. Simple, easy fix, no need to take the gun apart and buy anything else.

I'm not - it's the distance factor.Don't pass up a good deal on a JM 357 because of the cross bolt.
The crossbolt is not an issue but even if I were closer and did buy it would come apart for my 'obligatory' cleaning and inspection as I do with any gun I buy - especially used. And while apart I would turn, fit and color a crossbolt replacement 'plug' while I was at it.
