My Son owns a 2012 with the 5 cyl. His is 2wd though. He loves it. His is a crew cab and it has all the room he needs. Gets pretty good MPG too. The only thing he has had go wrong is the AC condenser cracked. Thats it.

No one makes a small pickup for sale in the US these days.

I bought a new 4x4 Colorado with an extended cab in 2008. It has performed beautifully since day one. Currently has 53K miles. Great little truck.

I had a 2005 Gmc canyon with the 5 cylinder. I put 235,000 miles on it with very few problems. Going from memory here are all the issues... 2 window motors, both front hubs, inner and outer tie rods, rear brake drums, oil pressure sensor, and serpentine idler. My son has it now, and loves it too. It's probably well over 250,000 by now.

I know a couple of guys that own Colorados. They seem to really like them. I’d like to drive one of the diesel ones and see how that is...

I forgot to mention that my brother put over 260,000 on a 2006 Colorado 4x4 extended cab before he sold it. He beat it up pretty good, and it still held up.
