Never give up OS!
Don't misunderstand. This old dude doesn't know how to give up. :D Actually there are a lot of things I don't know how to do. But I'm still learning. After all, I don't want to be one of those where people show up for the funeral and remark about how "good" he looks lying in the casket. The only remarks I want made are in reference to what a ride it must have been to destroy a body that bad.

I know the feeling. When I filled out formal job applications for secure gov't jobs, they always had a section for listing "scars, marks, and tattoos.". My app always said, see attachment c; and I didn't have any tattoos.

I always took an updated attachment with me so I had a current list to attatch. Can't say it's been boring. ;)

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Can't see how a boring life can be worth living. Been there and done that, no matter what it is. Brother, you sound like you understand.

Weighed in this morning at 250.1
About to break into the forties. ;)
This thing IS working, slow and steady, with a lot of two steps forward one step back, but I am just wavering up a pound or so, and then heading back down.

Miss T has been very supportive most of the time, but now and then...?

She made two small loaves of banana bread early last week to use up some bananas, and presented me with a slice warm out of the oven lightly dusted with confectioners sugar. Mug of hot tea in hand, it was awesome. :) Breakfast the next morning, coffee and banana bread.

Late that afternoon she asked if I wanted another slice, and I declined. At first, it got really quiet in the house, the dogs even held their breath and the temp dropped ten degrees... ;)
But... She understood and nothing else was said. Awesome... But 200 calories a slice.

The hardest part is the desert cart at restaurants.

We don't eat out much any more, easier to control what we eat and how it's prepared that way. So... Not too hard to battle the desert cart challenges.

I have great motivation...

It's not about looking good, it is about the numbers on a bloodtest.
That will raise your heart rate. ;)

I'm on 4 days of Z Pac antibiotics and they don't recommend drinking alcohol so had to give up late afternoon 1 or 2 light beers and a few chips.
Lost 3 lbs. in three days but I only weigh 158 lbs. normally. Of course doing things outside in the heat and humidity this week adds to any loss too!

Congrats on your weight loss program BM !
