And back in the day, you never played anything "exactly" the same, always some subtle nuance, etc. Now I'm told they "want" the loops.

One less thing to think about, I suppose.....
She's from Germany. I've watched quite a few of her drum and complete covers, I'm no expert but she has several different expensive looking drum sets.

Like I said I'm not a drummer but I especially liked this drum cover, over 22 million views but apparently she doesn't get paid for covers.

I can't imagine there are too many Metallica fans here, but try giving this a listen. It is another Rob Scallon video (i posted one of his in the ukulele thread). This one is three people on a single 8-string guitar covering the bass/guitar work in Metallica's "One".

Man, this kid can be in my band any day :D We'll be hearing morer of him.

cover_bass.jpg

Second one didn't do much for me, kind of a Peter Buck and Jeff Beck's kid get stuck in a music store (after hours) with Mariah Carey :D

The third I thought was very good. Funny how some of these covers can be as good or better than the originals. They have some nice equipment though. BTW, I'm thinking the guitarist is a male :?

The forth I didn't care as much for, though visually pleasant. The girl IMO doesn't have the voice for this, too clean and not enough "street cred" :D
Guitarist was very good.
I watched them backwards andI must agree on most everything you said. Only thing is, I couldn't get through any of them completely, and had to cut the first one really short--can't stand that song.

I like it. Dude's pretty animated in the first one...a classic tune with a little more spice.

The kids are amazing in the second one...when Ang gets back down from tending the horses, I'll have her give it a listen. She'll love it.
