Hand Cannon
Hand Cannon
I have always enjoyed quality firearms.
I even managed to purchase a few.
Since I do lean on the Western side, one firearm I purchased was a Bond Arms Ranger 45/410. I absolutely love this hand cannon!
Does anyone share my passion?

You learn very little the second time you get kicked by a horse.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Used too, however, although not western styling, is my 500 S&W that I will be selling. Not into that much brutality on my wrist anymore!Liberty wrote:I have always enjoyed quality firearms.

Nice piece though. Enjoy!
I wouldn't mind having 410 for the trail though..

Liberty,
No doubt about it..."hand cannon" is the right description BA puts out there.
BigAl mentioned I like this derringer, and he remembers correctly. A while ago I did a couple of Forum posts on my Snake Slayer IV. Check this out: http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.p ... yer#p46507
They are a great handgun, and a lot of fun to shoot....no matter what caliber. BTW, my two favorite calibers are the .357 Magnum and .45 Colt. The hand cannon easily handles the .45 Colt from my experience.
Enjoy.

Re: Hand Cannon
Dirty Harry's 44 Mag was the first handgun that I can remember being called a Hand Cannon .... today there are several more powerful options available but a hunting load fired from a 44 Mag is all of a cannon I care to have in my hand when it goes off

.45 ACP fired from a revolver - back of the trigger guard slams the front of the middle finger.
