Finished up with all 8 seasons so far of Blue Bloods and have moved on to The Pinkertons. Right away I saw rifles that look really familiar. Here is a sample.

in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly there is a single scene in which Clint is sighting a Henry type rifle with an old classic style scope that is mounted on the left side of the barrel .... my theory is the rifle is a Hollywood Henry .... possibly a Winchester that has been modified to look like a Henry ..... the only picture of it I can find is shown below

Reading a Craig Johnson book " Dark Horse" that discusses an original Henry Yellow rifle. Good series by the way.

The Longmire book series. Read them. Very good. Different Longmire universe than the TV series. Both book series and TV series are standalone good, but separate.

Hollywood version for sure. This picture clearly shows the magazine and barrel being two seperate things instead of one piece of steel as the Henry Rifle actually was.

You guys sure that is a "Hollywood" Hentry, or a "spaghetti" Henry?😆😈

Couldn't resist that one, as my memory tells me the Italians were almost a guilty as Hollyweird when it came to tools in movies.

I started to watch a new movie last night called 'The legend of Five Mile Cave' , a low-budget, family oriented western produced by the INSP Network and the main character is demonstrating his shooting skill with a very obvious BBB in one scene.
I suspect this may have been used as a 'subtle' advertisement by Henry.

War Arrow (1953) .... another Western where they use some original Henry rifles and also mix in some "want-a-be" Henry rifles .... with Jeff Chandler, Jay Silverheels, and Maureen Ohara its well worth watching

I watched a new movie tonight. Called, the warrant. It is based in Civil War and immediately afterward. There were henry rifles all over the place. Pretty good movie if you can get it.
