This was an interesting question for me to consider. I was born and raised in CT. It's a pretty small state, just 50 x 100 miles. I met my wife when we were still in high school more than fifty years ago and I lived here with her for nearly 44 years before she passed away in 2017. Pretty much everywhere I go in CT and everything I see here reminds me of our wonderful, amazing life together. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Hmmmm. Who’d a thunk that more than one of us on a cowboy gun forum would want to live in those areas??

CT shooter: I was still bouncing around in my mommas belly (about 2/3rds cooked) when you were at your prom! You two made a very handsome couple!

They can for sure. Big winters too. I’ve not spent a ton of time in Montana, but I have in Wyoming. I love it there. Payton/Prescott would probably still be a nicer winter.

This is out drive and house. Also pictured is my neighbors Chrysler mini van which he parked in my parking area, and
our 350 gallon gas tank by our shed.

This is a record amount of snow for Minnesota in February.

Come on Spring.
