Moving sure does “disconnect” a person...

Post by PT7 » Tue Jan 01, 2019 10:35 pm

...and moving in December during the holidays adds to the excitement!

My number three daughter just bought her first ever house, and I broke my apartment lease and I am now renting from her. It’s been an experience so far, outside of all the work to move. :|

I’m using my daughter’s computer this evening (one-night loan) to check email and all the happenings on the HRF. My internet services should be installed before the end of this week. I missed saying Happy New Year to you all, and even missed my December 29th birthday!! That was moving day.

‘Tis a good and tough move. This apartment was the last home my wife, Joyce, and I had together. But I can’t help but believe Joyce would be pleased with this new road I am now taking. Although quite bittersweet, it’s fine and I’m grateful for the new start God has provided.

Best to all for a healthy and prosperous 2019 — to you and yours.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Very kind and tender of your daughter toward her dad. Joyce smiling down on both of you.

I'm glad to hear it went as "smooth" as you said. It's very nice of your daughter to let you rent from her. I wish you the best in that endeavor.

Glad you got it done, Bob! You'll find very quickly that you're in a good place, I'd predict! Let's get together soon and figure out that optic we were talking about ...

Moving can be a miserable experience, for sure, but glad yours went fairly smooth. Mostly, though, I'm happy that you're settled in and content. Looking forward to more great news and posts from you, this year.
