Here is some of my favorite artist's famous works. Just because I like 'em. Charlie was a cowboy's cowboy artist. Wow.

I've always really liked his work. The first art work I ever bought, on a trip to Yellowstone, etc. at age 15, was a couple of Charlie's images, an Elk, and the one entitled "Who killed the Bear". I wish I still had 'em.

His details and regional differences in gear are always spot on. Firearms too.

Love them, RR. He's always been one of our favorites, too.

Saw Charlie Russell's saddle (in glass case) in the museum. The Holy Grail of cowboy artifacts. So cool.

We have been to the Great Falls museum twice. I would like to go there after Christmas.

I bought my husband a LAUGH KILLS LONESOME print several years ago at the GREAT FALLS, MT museum.

We really enjoy his art.

I enjoy other 'natural', western, seaside-ocean, lake, river, woods, wilderness, mountains, ships, boats, etc. type of art. I love village scenes too. I like some 'fancy' pieces of art and I like Norman Rockwell and Grandma Moses too! I like specific types of religious art in old, plain, small churches to more elaborate art in large churches found stateside and overseas. In museums too.

I tend to have an eclectic taste in oil paintings and in prints. And in sculptures to Russian eggs! You name it.

I used to frame several things, back east, with my late husband too. (I am NOT an artist/painter.) Almost all of them got gifted and I only sold a couple of prints. I framed some old style finish and new mirrors with him too. I framed a lot of his military items and a few of our old sail boat and power boat pictures for his DEN too.

My walls are VERY bare in this second house that I built 'on purpose'. Simple, plain, and easy to clean. If I end up building my third house or cabin in my lifetime before I die... it will be very simple to care for too.

I enjoy art and beautiful things but I do not want to care for them as I USED TO DO. So many of my old friends and/or their CHILDREN are enjoying them now.
