Checking-in

Post by Sir Henry » Sun Oct 07, 2018 4:47 pm

I'm not sure when the last time I was here but I know it has been awhile. I have switched over to just using a smart phone and have difficulty logging in here. Right now I'm on my laptop which I haven't turned on in months. I haven't shot much either. Just eliminating a few rabbits. But I'm doing great just a shift of the things I'm doing.

A lot of my time is spent landscaping. I'm almost done for the year but now I have to prepare for winter. I didn't do that last year and paid the price in the spring. I've moved about 60 ton of rocks in the last couple of years. That really took a toll on my body but other than moving a few here and there the rock work is done and I'm doing lighter work like planting.

I haven't been hiking much either. I didn't go on any hikes this summer.

But what I have been doing that is fun is travel. Last November I bought a new car and teardrop trailer. Over the winter and summer I didn't get a lot of camping in but late summer and fall I've been camping a lot. In August I did 8 days along the Washington Coast and then in September I did the Oregon Coast in 18 days. Tomorrow I'm heading out to Fort Worden State Park for five days.

I'll try to check in more frequently like once a week.

I'd genuflect, Sir Henry, but I wouldn't be able to rise when commanded. :D
