Well yeah, but Hendrick likes to win.

Jr was hot stuff when he was at DEI.

And it was all pretty strange, but I did not want to see him drive for Hendrick. I hated it the day he announced it. I just wish that Teresa wasn't selfish like she was. And where is she today? But that's another story.

Back to Kyle, I often wonder how much Hendrick regretted letting him go. Kyle sure showed him.

thinking back to Kyle's time at Hendrick .... he quickly developed the perception of being a talented but spoiled crybaby who couldn't control his emotions .... he raced hard (dirty) when it suited him and threw tantrums when he was on the receiving end .... as such, he was having a negative impact on sponsors .... in most ways he has matured but the early impressions he established with many (if not most) fans still hangs on

just read the following at NASCAR.com ====> “Yeah, was speeding on pit road and ultimately that is what got us behind,” said Elliott, who led three times for 16 laps. “You can’t come down pit road leading the race and speed and expect to race for a championship the next week. Just unfortunate and especially that late in the race. So, that was just my fault and really no excuse for it. So, we will try again next year.”

at a young age, Chase is far more mature today than Kyle and some other veteran drivers

One reason why I have learned to like him and I credit his wife a lot for it. Although far from perfect, he is a much better person today. And a heck of a racer. This is a little different for me as I usually don't root for a top driver winning race after race. I was a Michael Waltrip fan for about 20 years. I still am a big Morgan Shepherd fan today.

Yes that would be cool, maybe he can pull it off.
That won't bother me.

Reminds of Earnhardt more than Jr., Like Big E, do what it takes to win.
And has the car control like Big E, have seen both of them makes some hellaious saves.

But it's getting like most of the big sports, all about the sponsors.

OK, I will leave y'all alone as I hadn't really keep up with it much.
Heck most of what I know about this I learned here. :D
Hope then that Truex can pull it off.

Funny you mention Ken Schrader.

I almost mentioned him earlier.

Another one of my all-time favorites.
