cleaning black skillet

unearth a black skillet at my brothers house with rust on it. Any suggestion to clean it. Looks superficial.

Lots of video choices available on getting superficial rust cleaned off a cast iron skillet, Wiz.
This one is a basic how2....pretty simple and straightforward.

This worked very well. My wife thinks I am a genius. ( we won't tell her how I knew how to do that, will we?) :D
