Am I the Oldest guy in this forum

Post by Carver » Fri Jul 20, 2018 7:40 pm

I have been watching the birthdays and it appears that I’m the oldest one around (81). I don’t know if thats good or bad, however I do have good health and still like to shoot several times a week.

Old and healthy is most definitely good, Bill. I'm so very glad you're here to contribute to our forum. May you have many more trips to the range, many more beautiful carvings to complete, and continued good health. :)

Just don't act your age. I think that's the key.

Good health is a great blessing, so I'd say being 81 is just fine!

And at that age, shooting "several times a week" is a good way to go.
Keep on keeping on, and enjoy each outing and day! :D

Im 66 Bill all the old guys I work with call me a punk. There 71 and 72 the owner is 92 so I guess I am just a punk. One thing I might add is I ride a bicycle about 130 miles a week and they cant so they can call me whatever they want. Enjoy your shooting I hope you have many more years of it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Reaching the age of 81 is a privilege not afforded to everyone. Enjoy, especially if you can get out and shoot that often.
