No creek critters here but we are getting a view of a butterfly migration.
Due to rain and other weather a billion Paintedlady Butterflys are traveling from Mexico trough the greater Los Angeles area on their way to Oregon.
Quite a sight to see hundreds of Butterflys an hour traveling in the same Northern direction.

Years ago I was at Crater Lake when the swarms were there. They are awesome in great numbers!

Well, I am familiar with the critters in the creeks around here, as I used to dive in them nearly every chance I got.

Gators, and moccasins come to mind first, although the most dangerous creature in the river is............

the guys driving the boats.
