Largest Musical Instrument on Earth

Post by Henry88 » Tue May 15, 2018 12:50 pm

Yeah, that's what they're saying. What would something like that sound like?

Well we can only listen through a cell phone, but you can still hear that "growl" at 00:58.

Would love to hear it in person. BTW, I didn't care for the extra chords and all in this version at first, but it has grown on me.

It would sound better if the rhythm section was a lower volume from the melody. I'm not sure if that can be done with that. I am also not a fan of anyone doing that song any way other than the way it was written. Un patriotic to me. That's just me and your mileage may vary.

Interesting. Thanks. I have a T-Bird bass guitar that I thought was the biggest. Feels like it on stage. Like playing your grandmother's coffee table. No wonder I have shoulder problems now.

I understand what you're saying Jim. I was looking at it from an organist viewpoint, loosing sight of the fact that it is our National Anthem. Here is a more traditional version on a similar organ.....

I played a few brooms, a tennis racket and some air guitar but never grandmas coffee table. I bet your shoulders are hurting.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
