Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Great photographs and thank you for that very concise information about how your firearms laws work.

That crawfish would go nicely with that pig. Too bad they are scarce in your area.

Friend on mine visited down under. Brought this back to me as a gift for cat sitting. Works great for prepping my weekend adult beverage.

Should work nicely for a refreshing beverage.
The platypus one is a bit of a joke given they are an aquatic animal. They aren't in big numbers anywhere, the most I have ever seen is 3 on the surface of one waterhole and I have never seen one on land.
The kangaroo and koala signs are common along with wombat signs.

And that is what it gets use for. Thank you for the background on the local animals, I found that interesting.

The 20mile stretch of road between home and the farm sees probably 6-10 dead kangaroos a week and 1 or 2 wombats. Those are the ones that are killed outright and are dead on the road, there would be more than that with those that make it off the road injured.
Realistically any trip outside of metro areas at night will see you encountering animals on the roads.

When I was a kid growing up in florida, alligators were a protected species and you couldn't harm them. We went on a vacation back to the west coast of florida for a fishing tournament several years ago, and the conservation effort worked. Not only did we see gators on the roadside, we saw "gator crossing" road signs, and twice... gators that had been hit by cars while laying in the road. Locals at the tourney told us it was more common than you would think... but usually with smaller alligators than the two bigger ones we had seen.

Population control?

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

"...bigger ones"

Must make for quite a speed bump in the road. I hit a raccoon once, I thought the front wheel got knocked off. Did mess up the alignment.
