we are camped in a rural area of Texas Hill Country where there isn't an over the air FOX signal .... I do hope to follow it on a computer .... I do find it the apparent contrast in how long it took last season for Chevy teams to dial in the Camaro and how quickly the Ford teams seem to have dialed in the Mustang

What a race.

Sure was a wreck fest.

Only 3 cars without damage the whole day.

Congrats to Denny Hamlin on an emotional win for the Joe Gibbs team.

Gibbs cars finished 1, 2 and 3.

Kyle Busch 2nd, Erik Jones 3rd.

I wasnt impressed. If I would have paid big money to watch a race like that I would feel cheated. Restrictor plates are still and will always be a joke in my book.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

It wasn't a race....it was a crash. Just reinforces my opinion of NASCAR. Here is a thought from my son. If those cars weren't so safe in a crash maybe those drivers would be more cautious. Something to thing about.

Yep, they sure wrecked a lot of cars. Name of the game is just to finish if you can in one piece. Denny needed a win and I am surprised that Kyle didn't try to wreck him. Maybe Kyle is growing up. I still think he's the best driver out there.

When Bush took the lead near the end of the race I figured it was his race to win or lose. Then when he chose to restart on the inside it became his loss. Bad decision bit him in the backside.

Cooper, I agree, I think he has more car control than any two other drivers in the field.
I do believe he let Denny win, they wanted the 11 to win for JD.
You could tell in his interview that he wasn't crazy about it.
He's maturing, and I'd take him over any of the others, hope he gets another Championship this year.

One reason now why I like him like I do and I credit his wife on that. I believe she really made a better person of him. He's an old school type racer. He can also drive. He can handle a poor running car right up there with the best of them.
