I was a Sr fan who tried to get behind Jr .... as a Chevy fan I have no problem with Hendrick, hated to see Stewart-Haas switch brands .... as drivers go, I follow the 48 and still believe it was a mistake to separate Chad and Jimmy ... for non Chevy teams I do like Harvick and can hold my nose and pull for Truex

as acknowledged, he's a very talented driver and will most certainly be in the NASCAR Hall Of Fame .... my issues with him stem from his long standing immaturity and the way he handles it when things don't go his way

Tony Stewart was/is a pretty darn good driver also, but
was also a bad loser, there have been quite a few through out the years.
But like I said before I don't follow it like I used to.
Probably seen more races this year than in the past few years put together.
I usually can find better things to do than sitting in front of the TV.

Never was an Earnhardt fan, but he could drive that was for sure.
The only driver that Hendricks ever had other than Kyle that I liked was Terry Labonte.
Harvick is good one also, but he don't like losing either.
Now Truex is showing signs of being top notch drier as well.

Although hard to like in the beginning, I was a solid Tony Stewart fan all through the years, right up till almost the end. Then he did Ryan Newman wrong. Here Tony was already out of the Chase and Ryan was fighting to either get in or salvage trying to stay in. He and Tony tangled and knocked Ryan out. His one time driver yet. That ended that for me.

That's one reason why Kyle is so popular today. I believe we can safely say that he's more like Earnhardt than any other driver out there. Like him or not DW, a guy who is a wealth of knowledge, said Kyle Busch is the most exciting driver he's ever known.

I agree and have said that for several years now. Jr. was never the driver his dad was.
DW said something like Kyle was the only one that could 3 wide all by himself.
He made a couple passes last night that no one else could make.

Speaking of Sr. I went to three races at Talladega, late 90's, and 2000.
He won all three, the one in 2000 was his last win, period.

in some ways he certainly is but in at least one key area, Kyle can't come close .... Sr was extremely talented and could read the air currents in the draft like no other driver .... it was often said he could see the air ... when asked about another driver cutting him off or trying to bump him aside, in after the race interviews he respond, that's racing .... 2 or 3 races later when he put that driver into a wall, in after the race interviews he'd respond, that's racing .... Kyle can most certainly dish it our but he's a crier when the same thing is done to him

Agree. He was a pioneer and had an amazing talent with it.

Glad to say that I got to see Dale drive at least once. Saw him qualify in Martinsville back in the fall of '97.

I remember one the last IROC races where he got sent into grass.
Went through the grass and came back up on the track almost as if it were a normal thing.
