I know that Kyle Busch has some strong supporters .... I never have been one of them .... the following taken from NASCAR.com (link below) reaffirms my impression of him

"Left behind: Kurt Busch left looking for plane ride after beating Kyle Busch ... Kurt Busch was supposed to fly back to North Carolina with brother Kyle Busch, but plans changed when Kurt took the victory at Kentucky. - 07/14/2019"

Always thought he was a Hell of a driver.
Thought he got a raw deal from Mr. H when ole Little E left daddy's team.
That was '08, and that year Kyle won 8 races.
And Jr. only won 9 the whole time he was at HMS.
Kyle won 38 races while Jr. was at HMS, that's a little better than 4 to 1.
But he's an Earnhardt.

I like him. Hope he gets that second Championship.
Oh yeah, how many of them does little E. have?? :o

Kurt seemed to take that pretty lightheartedly. Who knows the real reason why. Kyle is not one to explain just to satisfy his haters.

Check out the very decent interview by Kyle after the race, praise for his brother and his team:

I agree and always wondered how much Hendrick regretted that move.

Especially so every time he wins another.

possibly sometime in the future Hendrick may come out with a book that would answer such a question .... do hope so .... there is no doubt whatsoever of Kyle's driving ability .... I was one who was delighted to see him go and am even happier about it today .... if you look at Hendrick's, drivers Darrel Waltrip was the only one I can remember who had an attitude and/or lack of maturity anywhere near Kyle's .... I respect Hendrick for that

One thing I've learned about Hendrick, is that he likes to win. Now everybody likes to win, but he "really" likes to win. So much so that I've seen it backfire on him. If he selected a driver that was supposed to be a superstar and they weren't, he would get rid of them. Checking back quick on the stats, I see that Kyle only won 4 races for Hendrick in the 3 full years he was there. I'm sure that was a good part of the reason he let him go. Also, once Hendrick is "done" with a driver, they are shunned from then on even though they are still an employee there. They did the same thing to Brian Vickers. Which I thought was pretty funny when he took out Johnson to win on one of his last races there. Only problem was, I believe he took out Jr too.

Well according to those stats then Kyle still did better at HMS than Jr.
Kyle gets 4 in 3 yrs. and Jr. takes what 9 yrs. to get 9 nine wins.
While Jr. was at HMS, Kyle won like 38 races, what's that like better than 4 to 1, and 1 Championship.

I remember Brian taking Johnson and Jr. out, I laughed so hard.
Never been a Johnson fan either.
Here ya go, if ya want to see it again.

as acknowledged, he's a very talented driver and will most certainly be in the NASCAR Hall Of Fame .... my issues with him stem from his long standing immaturity and the way he handles it when things don't go his way

I "am" a Jr fan, but did not want to see him go to Hendrick. My wish was that Teresa would come around and be reasonable with him. Sure enough DEI was the highlight of his career. And what happened to Teresa? She faded out pretty quick. Going against her late husband's direction to boot. DEI went and did Michael Waltrip wrong as well. The team went from hero to zero in no time.
