You know you're old when....

You mark the passage of a week by having to refill your "pill minder." ;)
Went to take my meds this morning, and noticed it was the last slot...
"Wow... been a week already?"

Miss Tina nearly fell out of her chair laughing. :D

Next?

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

....at the mirror, you're ready to do cartwheels when you see 1, 2, or 3 dark hairs on your head shining through all the grey & white there! Always hopeful those dark ones will fill back in....

I remember one of those from my childhood. One of the women stayed on the phone All the time, my mother would finally have to ask her to hang up because she needed to make a call.
"Who are you calling?"

None of your business.

"Are you going to be long?"

Not all day like some people...

The woman would hang up, then softly pick up a minute or so into the call and listen in.

Yup. With a party line, you had no reason to expect privacy, but (unlike today ;) ) you knew it! Our phone number was two rings; others were one or three (or more).
