Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: on the road again
We took the Port Townsend/Coupeville ferry over to the island to visit an online friend. He has owned a Camp-Inn trailer for 10 years so I got a lot of first hand information. He lives in his permanently and owns several campsites across the Pacific Northwest.
On the way back they stopped us further back. That big ferry was rockin' and rollin'.
On the way to Neah Bay we have good weather.
Then 15 minutes later at Neah Bay we have this.
Further down the coast we pass some cranberries.

Re: on the road again
Miss Evelyn was determined to get to the beach.
We had to cross about a quarter of a mile of this to get to the beach.
When she found a dry spot she was happy.
We finally find a place to walk down to the beach. The weather was bad a lot of the trip and road was sometimes covered with debris or under water. One state park had an entire circle of campsites completely washed away. In a lot of the spots where there was standing water they had wands out so you could see how deep the water was. Most was not more than two to four inches deep but it could run for long stretches.

Re: on the road again
We covered 944 miles traveling 357 miles of Hwy 101 in Washington State. Side trips to the island and Neah Bay added miles plus getting to and back from 101 added even more. It took us eight days and we camped at Washington State Parks for seven nights.
The trailer is cozy for two. Miss Evelyn warms her hands on the last morning cup of coffee before heading home.

From my time in Ft. Lewis, I believe the weather you are experiencing is normal for winter or is it not?

Re: on the road again
I can tell you from having spent a winter in Portland, Oregon, that is not unusual. In fact, very much reminds me of my days in Oregon, during the winter. Great memories. Thanks for the great travel pics, Gene. A real treat for this snowbound gal.
