From my time in Ft. Lewis, I believe the weather you are experiencing is normal for winter or is it not?

Sort of normal. We get lots of rain but not like this.

I can tell you from having spent a winter in Portland, Oregon, that is not unusual. In fact, very much reminds me of my days in Oregon, during the winter. Great memories. Thanks for the great travel pics, Gene. A real treat for this snowbound gal.

Thanks Joanie, we saw snow in the Olympic Mountains. When we started it was frosting at night but when we left it was in the mid 50's even at night.
