I love the lonesome dove series. I watched fort Dobbs last night. The good guys were saved by a load of Henry repeaters.

Unlike some movies with Henry rifles in them LD went to great lengths for detail. When you see the rifles they are loaded. Some movies have the loading tube follower bottomed out on the receiver. No bullets.

I liked Duvall in Open Range also, But I like about everything he plays in. He seems to be the type of person that would be fun to just sit with and talk about life in general.
