He was THE biggest star in Hollywood in the 1920's. Mansions, cars, wild parties...Mix had it all. At one point in the 20's he was making $10,000 a week. Started out in the early 1900's with the Miller Brothers 101 Wild West Show as a rodeo rider. He did all of his own stunts in over 150 pictures, most of them silent. There are very few prints of any of his movies left due to the age of the film. There are a few poor quality DVD's, and I have most of them. In the early 30's he did a serial called The Miracle Rider with sound. He was in his 50's and still riding hard and doing his own stunts. I wrote a song on one of my CD's about him.
