Happy New Year!

Post by RanchRoper » Sun Dec 31, 2017 8:21 pm

All the best in 2018! Spent the day shoveling 3 feet of snow off the roof, digging out some hay bales, and my wife snapped this pic. Temperature has warmed up to about -10F, and the week looks like sunshine and up to above freezing by next weekend.

Crazy horses, Ruby would have a couple of inches of snow on her back and not mind it at all, only really went into her shelter if it was cold and windy or raining hard.

We got just warm enough yesterday to turn what little wet snow we had into slush which then turned to ice last night.

I'm hoping for snow... since we are retired and don't have to go out in it anywhere, we can enjoy the peace it brings. The utv will get us easily around the farm, the Titan will get us around if we HAD to get out... otherwise... ;) hobby time.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

RR, Happy New Year! That's an excellent photo, it reminds me of when I lived in Colorado Territory . We're at 16 today, which is odd for our area of Texas. Hopefully we'll be back up to 60-70 in a few days.
