A quick check of the Encyclopedia of Art reveals that the Christmas meat in the first painting was harvested from the second painting. :)

Nice! I often pickup a magazine called "Backwoodsman". They usually feature similar type artwork on the cover. Usually by one of their advertisers. Often very nice work. Some western some just wilderness type stuff.

I've visited the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in OK City 3 times and wouldn't hesitate to go back again .... link below .... there aren't many museums I can say that about ..... it is truly an outstanding museum

Ive seen some pictures out of a camera by RR that have some real nice western art.
