Re: The Curse of Oak Island
apparently winter storms were really rough on the island .... using a metal detector in areas that suffered considerable erosion seems to be working .... so far they have found a musket ball and a coin

Re: The Curse of Oak Island
I really hope that the Lagina brothers manage to find whatever it is that is buried on the island. They have spent a small fortune in their quest, and have had one disappointment after another, but they are still willing to carry on the search.
I'm looking forward to the release of the new series over here!

That can be an interesting show. I wonder how much of it is "scripted" for television. Years ago I took a class "Elements In Film Making" at the local junior college. I was taught to always ask "where is the camera?."

Re: The Curse of Oak Island
I'm pretty sure that some of the conferences they hold are scripted or at least edited .... I have no doubt that the brothers and their core people have been thoroughly infected with an obsession to find something ..... they are spending mega bucks of their own money in the search, no way the History Channel is footing the bill .... can't remember his name but I really enjoy watching the fellow the have brought in to run the metal detector

Always been fascinated by it and like everyone else I hope something comes out of the fortune the Lagina brothers (and whoever else is anteing up) have spent.
