2017-2018 NCAA Football Thread

interesting to see two top (?) teams scheduled for the season opener .... last night's Alabama vs Florida State game went pretty well as expected .... the first half was pretty close, the Seminoles folded during the second half

I was kind of disappointed in the defense that USC played against Western Michigan. The Trojans won't be contending for a playoff spot unless they stiffen up a bit on that side of the ball.

unfortunately, UNC once again played like UNC .... decent start with a major fade in the second half .... either Duke is stronger than expected or Northwestern is really weak this year

I was a bit surprised by Clemson taking Auburn by 8 pts .... Clemson's defense really played well

What a difference a week makes! Nothing to be disappointed about in USC's performance against Stanford. The Trojans imposed their will on a tough, disciplined team. It was a beautiful thing to watch.

heck of a finish in today's Florida vs Tennessee game .... tied with 9 seconds left, Florida threw a pass that covered 66 yards in the air .... he hit is receiver in mid stride who made the catch after time had expired .... that play will go down in Gator history

NC State went to Florida State and came out with a win .... the most surprising thing to me was the largely empty stands .... historically the Seminoles play before a packed house but times sure have changed
