I just put episode 4 of season three on pause to reply to some email and check in here... season four is currently being recorded. I should luck out with this storm and only get a small amount of snow and sleet, along with lots of rain. Northwest CT will likely get clobbered.

we've been following this storm on the TV weather reports .... it dumped on my wife's home area in SD on its way east, ice was a real problem .... much of I-90 across to Montana was closed yesterday ....

Another example of why Outlander is special... Season 4, Episode 2, "Do No Harm", a drama whose ending instantly brought this profound lyric to my mind...

I will probably make episode #4 of season one tonight. Kinda getting hooked.
I enjoy how Clair (Caitriona Balfe) is a little less than 'shy' in some of her scenes....

I'm hard pressed to think of a more despicable screen villain than Black Jack Randall or two more appealing protagonists than Jaime and Claire. Such great, fully developed characters! It's a beautifully produced series.
Diana Gabaldon is the author of the Outlander book series and her character development of heroes and villains is a major strength of Outlander .... I gave the series to my wife several years ago and it is one of her favorites .... so far, each TV season has been based on the corresponding book number .... Volume 1 = Season 1 .... there were 8 books in the original series, I understand she is working on a 9th .... I haven't read the books but my wife tells me that the TV writers have followed books fairly closely but not exactly ....

I respect all of whom did not spoil the story for us. After learning of this series here on the forum, the wife and I have been watching almost every night.
We are now caught up, through season 4. Cannot wait for the next!! Thank you ! We are enjoying it immensely. :)

Absolutely GREAT series! Can't imagine it not getting some kind of award!
