Seems to me, the Browns are all dead at this point.

Good news. Comcast has provided me with a week of free access to STARZ. I just watched Season 5, Episode 1 and will be able to watch the entire season during the next several days. I am so looking forward to it. :)

I just finished watching Season 5. I think that binge watching it in a day or two might have more of an impact than stretching it out over a few months, though I could be wrong. It's so good that I can imagine waiting for the next episode may deliver a fully satisfied anticipation for viewers who watched it as it was released.

I can't think of another TV series that has been as good as Outlander; the good guys are really good though imperfect people; the bad guys are oh so very bad and the very worst of how people can be; and the moral lessons that are weaved throughout the story line are deep and illuminating. The photography, directing, sets, and other production values are enviable, the writing is inspired and at times profound, and the acting by the entire cast is masterful.

And, yes, the evil of the Brown family is is still alive and will return in Season 6. What a cast of despicable villains, from Randall to Bonnet to Brown!!! The series defines striking contrasts and those characters occupy the furthest, darkest end of the spectrum of good and evil, while the Frazers and MacKenzies the other.

The last overhead shot of Jamie holding Claire's bruised body was fantastic. I'm impressed.

excellent summation .... one that is dead on the money .... fans call the period between seasons Droughtlander .... a term that pretty well sums it up for us .... hopefully they will soon be able to start filming season 6

After spending the last nine months living in seclusion, and after having binge watched more television programs and films than I've likely seen in all of the preceding 65 years of my life, I've decided to return to the first five seasons of Outlander in anticipation of the long awaited Season Six.

I am newly impressed by the script of Season One, Episode One, which so perfectly sets the table for the delicious feast that will slowly be served to the audience over the following years. This is going to be thoroughly enjoyable... again.
