from watching the show, its clear that they splice in pictures of Troy (and others) intense effort to get a bead on a gator's "quarter size" kill spot .... in all of those scenes, the hammer on his rifle isn't cocked .. ;) .. if he is using a Henry, my bet is its a 22 Mag

I passed up watching last night and watched another show while peddling away. Maybe next week.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

anyone get to watch the show last night .. :?: .. I didn't get to watch it .... with our satellite TV system in our camper, we cannot watch one channel while recording another .... last night there was a program we wanted to record and, just our luck, it was at the same time as Swamp People .... as a side point, a couple we camp with left where we are on there way to spend a couple of months at a Louisiana campground owned and operated by an Aunt of Ashley .... they hope to get to meet her while they are there .... historically, Elizabeth has been my favorite female on the show .... overall, Ashley is by far the most capable ....

got to watch this week's episode on a History Channel replay .... when it comes to Ashely, "badass and fearless" pretty well sums it up .... the river could of had that rifle .... no way I'd have jumped in after it .... I was a bit surprised that they didn't have a backup in the boat .... killing gators with a knife has been done before but the ones she dispatched were considerably larger
