Sometimes people dont want to share there shooting spots for fear of getting to many people around. but I bet if one noses around a guy will eventually find one. Im putting you fully in charge of getting one found out.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

If you guys get to do some snooping around Jim Jake Id be curious about ranges near there you can shoot reactive targets on.
I've done some checking and so far have found a couple of ranges with "Tactical" handgun ranges with metal targets but not any for rifles .... will continue looking

will do .... I haven't ever fired a Tactical range but it does look like fun .... at this link ===> https://www.creekwoodshootingsports.com/ , scroll down to pictures and comments about Range #2 .... it mentions competitions but nothing about open shooting .... its pretty close to our campground, will try to get over there and take a look

Creekwood has been there a while. Back in the '80's the "then" owner, Jim, had a small range and gun shop up around Conroe. He moved it there from Cleveland. I used to shoot trap and skeet at the his Conroe place. My wife purchased her Remington 1100 28 ga skeet gun from him there as she watched my buddy and I shoot. She got tired of watching and wanted to participate. He shut that place down when the Creekwood facility was completed. I don't know if the same family still owns it or not. I moved from the area shortly afterward and lost contact. It was sure a "fancy" place and probably still is.
