I was in hope that you'd post whatever may be a traditional New Year's meal in your part of the world .... :?:

Going out to a nice restaurant tonight. Prime rib and seafood are pretty traditional around here.

Pizza just got out of the oven. With a 13 year old and a 5 year old we just stay home. If it wasnt for them wanting to stay up the wife and I would be in bed sleeping.

Hope we all have a great 2017

I've never really had any special meal for the New Year, even when I was married. I suppose a lot of people got to Indian restaurants, which are very popular, but I don't know what the rest do. I used to stay up to welcome in the New Year, but it was mainly just an excuse to engage in a drinking session which is not something I really enjoy doing. There would be nuts and potato crisps/chips etc, but that would be about it.

I think the best description of me would be "Boring old fart". ;) :D

We had my wife's homemade tacos, which is my favorite of all meals.

We'll have a couple of drinks later on, but no way we'll see the clock strike 12.

We watch the ball drop in NYC (10pm) our time, then lights out. Morning chores come early, holidays or not.
