Re: New Year's Traditions and Meals
Tonight, honey and I will be having dungeonous crab, scallops, cheddar bay biscuits, small boiled potatos and a salad. I like seafood on New Year's day for dinner if possible. After dinner there is a possibility of a pitcher of martini's.

Re: New Year's Traditions and Meals
My buddy and I used to have a tradition of getting in one of the rivers around here on New Years Day. We thought it would bring us good luck diving during the year. Must have worked, as we found some really cool stuff over the years.
We don't get in the water much any more, so we spent the day in the woods hunting. Last day of big game season.

NYE we went to Lethbridge, saw Eastwood's new movie The Mule, and had sushi. Today we had KFC.
All good.
All good.

Re: New Year's Traditions and Meals
I cooked yesterday. Mary's son is living with us temporarily, so I gave him a cooking lesson. Her mother came for dinner too.
We had langostinos in a lemon cream sauce, butter crusted haddock, pan fried scallops with a simple sauce and King crab. A salad rounded out the meal. There wasn't a morsel left on the plates after dinner!
A fitting way to start a new year.

I went to a neighborhood party where about 30 people mingled through. I left around 11:30 and only a dozen or so remained.

.
Was going to go see it last week. Was told it was mostly boring monologue. So tabled it for Netflix. Saw Aquaman instead. Action packed, but kinda hoakie. Had I known better, it would have been a see later on Netflix too.

Re: New Year's Traditions and Meals
It has an actual story unlike most fluff these days. I'm tired of comic book movies now.
