And another couple of minutes for the little white dot to disappear when you turned it off.

Perhaps we should be allowed to rent them by the month, instead of buying 'em!

Soda pop sure tasted better in returnable bottle
A local Sparkle Market kept the empties outside.
A couple times when kids we put them in a cart and took them in and got our refund.
They kept them inside before long

I can remember walking the secondary highways looking for bottles in the ditches. As a ten year old that was my main source of income.

I grew up in the 40's, 50's. Then the 60's and the Nam War and our Country changed and not for the good, at least not in my mind. Now from what I am seeing, I have worries and doubts about the kind of lives my kids, grandkids, and great grandkids will have.

When I was a kid Sunday nights were Walt Disney show and then Bonanza. During the week I would get to stay up late (10pm) to watch Rawhide. Saturday mornings were 3 Stooges, Roy Rogers, Lassie and Sky King.

I grew up in the late 60's 70's.
I think things are looking up for our country lately.

I'll be 59 in May, but my years in the Corps count double, so I'm really 72.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
