Age Survey: How old are you?
Re: Age Survey: How old are you?
How old I'm I? Well it takes me all day to do what I used to do all day.

I'm 57. I grew up watching Westerns.
Glad to see Westerns still seem to be a strong genre.

You learn very little the second time you get kicked by a horse.

You're probably old if you have no idea what that is about.

Re: Age Survey: How old are you?
Let's just say I have more "climbed hills" behind me than I have "hills to climb" ahead of me . . .
When I started shooting as a kid, I used Dad's 1915 Stevens Favorite - still have it. I quickly changed to black powder firearms . . . and a pound of DuPont was seventy five cents and a tin of 100 Remington #11 caps was twenty-five cents - "grease pencils" were used to write the prices on the cans and and a gallon of gas was usually cheaper than the tin of caps . . . . and we used rotary dial phones and wee on a "party line" . . . . gosh, I'm older than the dirt they're going to shovel on top of me some day!!

I'm 65. Been a lot of places and done a lot of things. Still got places to go and things to do. If this junk body holds out. During a recent exam the doc told me "You have the heart health of a much younger man but Good Lord! What happened to the rest of you?"
