Not quite summer here yet. Mowed the near house lawn for only the 2nd time. Used the blower to clean up the clippings and sent clouds of yellow pollen billowing.
Yuk, coming our way I suppose. Thankfully I’m not allergic but it sure makes a mess.

Got all the flower beds spruced up yesterday so things are looking good around here. Next up is an area my wife wants to add the the lawn. I need to bring in some dirt and level it and remove a bunch of river rock the builder used for the drain field. Then reseed it. Like we needed more lawn  This area wasn’t part of the original lawn but when we fenced the back yard the fence enclosed this area so I guess it makes sense to make it the same as the adjoining area. Another 700 sf to deal with
A mess yes for the deck, patio, driveway, metal roof and cars; especially when wet. It's slicker than snot! So have to let it dry and then it's pretty much glued down and takes pressure washer to get it lose.

We redid the near house lawns about 4 yrs ago, did sod and put down hardware cloth first to keep the moles from poking up through it.

No air conditioning thru high school. No A/C in school either.
When I worked at a newer high school with A/C a maintenance guy would come by when we were out for the Summer and shut off off the A/C (except in the office area). Would get pretty hot and also very humid when we shampooed carpets as they also turned off the air flow. We got a new superintendent and he came by one day after the building had heated up and asked us why the building was so hot. When we told him they always shut it off in the Summer he immediately called the maintenance supervisor and told him to get someone out here right away and turn the A/C back on. We knew then we had a good superintendent. Of course shortly after I transferred to a old elementary school that had no A/C.

I turned off the heat yesterday and lowered the outside blinds because it got to be 76f in the house. I even turned the A/C on and set it at 68. Then this morning I got up and it was 68 upstairs and 66 downstairs.

About 4 inches of wet snow here in northern Wyoming today. Not quite summer just yet.

It’s been windy here. I thought my RVport might blow over. Literally! The top was moving about six inches.
