What you said NCG, I also shoot a bit of 25-20 38-55 and 35 Rem. also. And the 444 which only arrived on the scene in the early 60's. And probably has as much to do with the revision of the ole 45-70 as any thing else.

So true on the 444. Great cartridge. Used to shoot it. The 45-70 really stole its thunder shortly after.

for me 357 mag, 38 spl, 45 colt then 7.62x39. I'm looking forward to shooting them all more this year.

That’s the exact words I would use to describe you!
I shot my .44 Magnum the most, but only because the 1:40 barrel made it so frustrating to dial in! I love shooting the BBSC, but usually because it’s fun, not because I can’t hit the side of a barn!
