That doesnt look like fun Gene. Been there before with that much snow in Seattle and those folks dont handle it to well.
The area doesn’t have enough snow plows. It’s not cost effective to buy plows for the worst winters and then not use them again for ten years.

Thanks. I have lived here for 32 years and know most of the neighbors. Some have been neighbors for 32 years. It is really a nice community.

Heavy rain here on the Blue Ridge mountains. Got a trip to the VA later. Dang I didn't want to leave the mountain today.
Cheers

8-12” of snow predicted for my area by tomorrow afternoon with another storm due Sunday. Then an arctic freeze with lows in the minus single digits and highs in the single digits. Going to be a fun ride. :D
Here is the result of the first storm, Friday into Saturday. Snow started out very dry but Saturday warmed up and it became like concrete. Spent the entire day plowing and shoveling.

The second storm is just now starting but it’s already 31 so I expect it to turn to rain. It will be a mess.

Sunday’s storm added another 6” to the snow total. Another 2” waiting for me now to deal with. Fortunately the Arctic blast predictions have changed from lows in the minus single digits to lows in the low single digits.

Sir Henry, while I have never experienced snow in the Seattle area I have seen many reports on the news of the impact. Just the hills alone would make driving difficult. Looks like you’re prepared and even have a snow shovel in operation in the background. :D

More snow here overnight but I don’t think a lot. I’m still on my first cup of coffee and haven’t ventured outside.

No snow here today. Where we are at it's been sunny. Went to town on an errand (about 7 mi) and it was sleeting hard. Got back home and notta. Just sun like nothing was happening a few miles away. 37 at the moment and headed into the 20's overnight.
